After 10 finalists, 40 semi-finalists, and thousands of nominations – Broad Street Diner in Keyport was named the best in New Jersey in NJ’s Best Diner Showdown run by NJ.com. Chosen by the site’s resident food expert Peter Genovese, no other diner combined “great food, friendly service and convivial atmosphere in one package”. The Pompton Queen Diner in Pequannock was the Readers’ Choice winner.
