Pelicana Chicken, a longtime Korean chicken chain, has opened its second US location in Palisade Park – the first is in Flushing. The brand operates over 2,000 chain-stores around the world. Pelicana offers a large selection of chicken (see Flushing menu below) – using all organic chicken and fried in oil that’s replaced every day (they encourage customers to ask about it).

The chicken comes cooked very crispy in the following varieties: original chicken, crispy and boneless cooked with a variety of flavors like plain, marinated, spicy marinated, garlic, bbq, scallion, snowing cheese and cheese Ppurio – the last two of which won second place for BEST UNIQUE FLAVOR in the New York Best Wings Festival. Five of the sauces can be added for an additional cost.

The bar offers flavored Frozen Beer. Pelicana Chicken is the very first to bring them into the United States. A frozen slush sits on top of the beer, which keeps it cold for a very long time. It is available in flavors such as Mango, Blueberry, Raspberry, Grapefruit, Strawberry and Lemon. Pelicana Chicken is open seven days a week.
