Convenience store chain QuickChek has introduced its new line of Walking Tacos. Consumers start by choosing a bag of either Nacho Cheese Doritos, Cool Ranch Doritos or Fritos, and build a meal by adding their choice of toppings: chili, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and olives, using the same touch-screen technology QuickCheck offers with their custom-made oven- toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads. Once the customer has created their Walking Taco, it’s warmed right in the bag with a starting price of $3.49.

QuickChek, which is based in Whitehouse Station, NJ and has 140 stores throughout the metro area — including greater Bergen locations of Bogota, Carlstadt, Clifton, Emerson, Fairview, Garfield, Hackensack, Lodi, Ramsey, Saddle Brook, Totowa and Wayne.
