You don’t have to leave Bergen County for an exotic dining experience. Cake Lounge’s weekly Aloha! Summer Sundays event brings families together for tropical-themed food and fun.

Dine al fresco on The Patio, where coconut shrimp, main lobster claw cocktail, jumbo lump crab cakes, Hawaiian pizza and calzone balls are all on the menu, along with tropical-themed cocktails, sangria and drink specials. For younger patrons, the kids’ menu features favorites like grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers, each with served crispy fries. Dining is set to the upbeat tunes of Jimmy Buffet, Bob Marley and other Caribbean music, spun by DJ Drew. Tables are set for parties up to five; pre-registered parties over five can be seated at neighboring tables. There is also a cash bar.

Aloha! Summer Sundays are held on August 9th, 16th, 23rd or 30th, with 12pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm seatings. PRE-REGISTER TO RESERVE YOUR TABLE and receive a complimentary drink per person in your party. Pre-registering also gets you an automatic entry in the Aloha! Summer Sundays contest for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the Palermo cafe and bakery, a $100 Palermo gift certificate for a custom specialty cake, and a $150 gift certificate to the Cake Lounge restaurant (ending 8/31, winner announced 9/5).
