Sesti Wine Dinner at Spuntino Clifton on July 30th

The evening will highlight wines produced by Sesti Wine, known for producing great wines by focusing on simplicity and careful attention to detail while following an eco-friendly philosophy. Hosted by General Manager, Brian McAllister, guest speaker Liz Farley, east coast regional director of Kermit Lynch, will be on-hand to provide tasting notes to go along with the carefully crafted five-course menu by Executive Chef Josh Bernstein. Tickets for the Sesti Wine Dinner, which has limited seating, can be purchased in advance for a cost of $49/person.

· CHARRED WATERMELON – Pickled fennel and red onion, watercress, goat cheese. Paired with a 2014 Rosato.

· SQUID INK ALLA CHITARRA – Bay scallops, celery, cherry tomatoes. Paired with a 2014 Sauvignon.

· FIRE-ROASTED CHICKEN – Grilled polenta, braised Tuscan kale, rosemary-mustard glaze. Paired with a 2010 Monteleccio.

· GRILLED PORK TENDERLOING – Summer vegetables, balsamic-Montalcino barbecue. Paired with a 2010 Rossa di Montalcino.

· PARMIGIANO REGGIANO – Aged balsamic, grilled multi-grain. Paired with a 2007 Brunello di Montalcino.
