L’Arte in Ramsey Introduces Pizza to Menu

Pizza days are here at L’Arte in Ramsey. The bakery (and more) from Executive chef Vicki Wells, is offering a crispy thin-crust pizza that are baked in their stone injection bread oven. The pies are Roman style (18″ x 7″) and made with 00 flour, EVOO, salt, yeast, and Chef Vicki’s sourdough starter.

The pies will be topped with anything that’s in season locally — composed options like Pizza Primavera (asparagus, artichokes, fresh basil) or Pizza Quattro Formaggi (fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta, Cacciocavallo, and Parmigiano) — plus greens like escarole, arugula, and dandelion. And the fresh mozzarella is from a shop in Hoboken.

The pizzas will be available on Thursday and Friday only and are $20 for a full pie and $4 for a slice.
