Magnify Brewing Company is a new northern New Jersey brewery with plans to open to the public by early May. Located in Fairfield, NJ, Magnify will distribute to local bars and restaurants, with plans to extend distribution to liquor stores starting in summer 2015.

Eric Ruta, the company’s founder/president and NJ native, cut his teeth in the brewery business during his college years in Maine. Magnify’s head brewer is Erich Carrle, who brings years of experience working for a number of breweries: KelSo Beer Company of Brooklyn (Brooklyn, NY), Almanac Beer Co. (San Jose, CA) and Speakeasy Ales & Lagers (San Francisco, CA).

“Our goal at Magnify is to brew beers that we don’t see elsewhere – new interpretations of classic styles, and some off-the-wall stuff that will get even the biggest beer geeks excited,” Carrle said.
