Fort Lee Ordinance Bans Smoking in Outdoor Restaurants

Outdoor Patio

Restaurants and bars in Fort Lee that have outdoor spaces, must now prohibit customers from smoking in those outdoor spaces according to a report on northjersey.com. The municipality passed the ordinance this month, requiring the businesses to place no smoking signs in the designated outdoor areas – violators will be fined $250 for the first offense, $500 for the second and $1000 each one thereafter.

What restaurants and bars are affected by the passage of this? This is hardly a complete list, but off the top of our heads: Baggio, GW Grill, JD’s Steak Pit and Santorini Taverna.
