Bolero Snorts Wins Big at 2015 AC Beer Festival

tabull saison

This past Friday and Saturday (March 20-21 2015), Ridgefield Park’s Bolero Snort had two 1st place finishes at the 10th annual Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival. Their Longhop IPA took 1st Place for NJ Brewed Beers and Tābull Saison, which makes its debut in retail and bars this weekend, won 1st Place for Wheat Beers from among over 150 breweries in attendance.

Tābull Saison is a farmhouse ale, a low alcohol saison – or “table beer” as they were known in late 17th century Beligum. Pronounced “table” – just like the beers it draws inspiration from – their newest offering utilizes a basic and rustic grist bill to allow the yeast to shine. According to the tasting notes from Bolero, expect a “quaffable, light bodied brew with a fluffy white head” as the ale is the “perfect companion for the warming weather” with “fruity notes, subtle funk with a dry finish”.
