Cool Beans in Oradell Adds Liquor License
With the closing of Felice back in July 2013, it turned out the liquor license was up for grabs. Enter Cool Beans owner Chris Marino, who purchased the license in order to serve alcohol to their existing customer base. There was also plans for an outdoor patio, which may or may not still be in the works.
So in addition to their usual coffee shop fare of drinks and light food menu, customers now have a selection of bottled beers, wines and cocktails.
They are currently offering 26 beers by the bottle. There is a selection of Patron and Avion tequilas plus over 30 whisky options from bourbon and rye to single malts and blends. According to Marino, the drinks menu will be ever changing as they move through the seasons.
The wine menu is by the glass or by the bottle featuring 5 reds and 3 whites – the list is sure to grow. Cool Beans was also recently named to NJ Monthly’s list of Best Coffeehouses in NJ for 2015.
