So much for the latest scuffle of an entitled Yelp reviewer vs. the big bad restaurant — ramen noodle joint Ani Ramen (which opened last May) received a very favorable review from this weekend’s edition of the New York Times.

While a hubbub has ensued that the Montclair restaurant refused service to an unruly diner — which prompted a response from the restaurant (good for them) and the requisite unnecessary commentary and insight from those not involved — Times reviewer Fran Shumer review focused on the food and made particular note of the pork bun and vegetarian ramen, amongst other dishes. Ani Ramen is open six days (Tuesday thru Sunday) for both lunch and dinner.
