Starbucks Launches Coffee Subscription Service

Starbucks

Starbucks announced the launch of their new coffee service, which sells monthly subscriptions of small-lot coffees roasted at their Seattle Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room. The roastery and tasting room opened in December 2014, with a mission dedicated to roasting, coffee education and increasing availability of Starbuck’s small-lot Reserve coffees. These small-lot coffees are only available at the Roastery or through this subscription.

“Starbucks Reserve Roastery subscriptions are – aside from visiting the Roastery and having our partners scoop the coffee right in front of you – the freshest, fastest and most innovative whole bean coffee experience in the marketplace,” said Howard Schultz, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Starbucks. “The Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room has redefined what customers expect from a brick-and-mortar retail experience. Combining the magic of this unique retail theater with our digital infrastructure brings two of our best assets together and ensures that customers can experience the world’s rarest coffees in the privacy of their own homes or anywhere else they might want the most premium coffee we offer.”
