Sal & Pimienta, a Colombian restaurant, has opened in Teaneck at the former Madre’s Cuban Cuisine location. Owned and operation by the Arciniegas family — the father has owned a few restaurants — they are serving “traditional Colombian cuisine”.

Along with their a la carte menu, they will be serving an assortment of Colombian bakery items such as empanadas, cheese breads, and sweet pastries baked fresh daily on premises. There will also be a daily lunch special menu, designed to provide area residents and workers with a “filling and affordable home cooked” meal for lunch. We will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Sal & Pimienta will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is BYO — offering both the full and quick service options at all times.
