Just in time for Valentine’s Day, OpenTable has revealed the 2015 Diners’ Choice Award winners for the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America. According to this morning’s announcement, Cafe Matisse in Rutherford from Chef Peter Loria was again named to list — along with along NJ restaurants Peter Sheilds Inn (Cape May) and Scarborough Fair (Sea Girt). Cafe Matisse is currently the only Bergen County restaurant to carry a four star rating from The Record (July 2014).

According to OpenTable, the Diners’ Choice Awards for the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America are generated from more than 5 million restaurant reviews collected from verified OpenTable diners between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2014. All restaurants with a minimum number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “romantic” category along with a minimum “overall” rating.
