Update: California Tortilla Montvale is now open

This Thursday January 8, 2015, California Tortilla is finally opening its doors and they’re celebrating  with Free Burrito Day — every customer gets a free burrito and a drink for lunch (11am – 1:30pm) and dinner (5pm – 7:30pm). For fans who are willing to brave the cold, they’re giving away free burritos for a whole year to the first 20 people in line that morning.

The chain, which features a menu (View Menu) of made-to-order burritos, quesadillas and salads, both with chef-inspired and self-inspired options, was first reported back in August. Another area location is now expected in River Edge as well. It was also named one of the Top 5 Most Anticipated Bergen County Openings for 2015 by Boozy Burbs.
