Upcoming 17 Summer in Lodi to be on Season Two of ‘Restaurant Startup’

Word just came this week that local catering business owned by brother sister team of Joseph and Jenna Cuccia, Jospeh Cuccia Catering in Lodi, would be opening a restaurant named 17 Summer in their existing space sometime next year. Now CNBC has announced that the restaurant is actually vying in the upcoming Season Two of their prime time show Restaurant Startup.

Each week, two teams are invited to pitch their food ideas to investors Joe Bastianich and chef and restaurateur Tim Love as a concept worth backing. The chosen team is given the keys to a working restaurant and are given 36 hours and $7,500 to put their “dream to the test”. If successful Bastianich and Love fund the restaurant.

Restaurant Startup airs Tuesdays at 10PM on CNBC (Season Two premiere Episode is January 13, 2015). At the moment, the airing date for the 17 Summer episode is unknown.
