Today OpenTable has announced their 2014 Diners’ Choice Award winners for the Top 100 Best Restaurants in America. These awards are culled form the combined opinions of more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners of more than 20,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

None of the New Jersey winners (see below) are in the immediate area (the closest being in Maplewood), though only 7 other states of the 32 represented had more winners than our Garden State . New York City alone had 7 (Atera, Daniel, Daniel – Lounge, Eleven Madison Park, La Grenouille, Le Bernardin, Sushi Nakazawa) of New York State’s 12 winners.
