Steakhouse & seafood restaurant The River Palm Terrace in Edgewater is hosting a series of Wine Classes & Tastings in 2015. The first class “Introduction to Wine Basics” will be offered for (4) four weeks beginning on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Each class costs $65 and are limited to 20 students.

Classes are hosted by their in-house Wine Director Joe Iurato, and include appetizer pairings prepared by their Chef. This is a wine basics class, with each focusing on a different region. Students will learn proper tasting & assessing of wine, evaluating older and younger wines, how the wine is made, etc. This event was designed to be a good way for anyone to learn the A-Z’s of wine tasting or for related businesses to educate their staff. Students can take classes individually or signup for more than one. Reservations can be made by calling Cynthia Aybar at (201) 224-2013.
