Red and White Burger, a Peruvian-style Burger concept, has opened in North Bergen.

The menu (see below) offers classic burgers and approximately 9 specialty burgers with various toppings and homemade Peruvian sauces. Customers can also create their own – with the toppings of their choice. All burgers feature 7oz prime ground beef and served on buns from Hudson Bread. Fries are hand-cut and combos are available with burger, fries and fountain soda.

For the Peruvian side for drinks, they are offering Inca Cola and homemade Chicha Morada (Peruvian purple corn drink). Desserts are an assortment of Massamora Morada, Alfajores, Crema Volteada and Lucuma ice cream.

The name derives from the colors of the Peruvian flag, which is used as accent colors for the decor – plus polished aluminum – likened to a 50s diner. The restaurant is open 7 days a week.
