Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, has opened it’s first New Jersey in Paramus, replacing the burger/cupcake concept BUCU in the 35 Plaza shopping center.

Blaze Pizza is a modern day “pizza joint” known for its custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s’more pies. Each restaurant features an interactive assembly-line format – similar to Chipotle – that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s signature 11-inch pizzas or create their own. Blaze offers choices from a wide selection of fresh, artisanal ingredients. The pizzas are cooked in a hot open-flame – which has a temperature of 800 degrees – oven for just 180 seconds. Each restaurant makes its own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford Kent (“The Pizza Whisperer”), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese.

The restaurant is open 7 days week from 11am till 10pm for dine-in and takeout. Orders can be made ahead of time via the Blaze Pizza online ordering system.
