Official word has come through that Jimmy John’s, the sandwich shop that began 31 years ago in a converted garage in Charleston, IL, has opened it’s newest location at 184 Essex Street in Lodi (as expected).

Founded in 1983 by 19-year-old Jimmy John Liautaud, the brand specializes in “freaky fast” sandwiches made with fresh-baked bread, freshly-cut, all-natural meats and vegetables that are sliced daily at each restaurant. (View Menu)

The 36-seat store will deliver to the surrounding area and offer catering.

Jimmy John’s in Lodi is open 7 days a week from 11:00am till 10:00pm.
