As reported last week, Teaneck Doghouse opens officially today for the first time at 1413-1415 Palisades Ave, Teaneck NJ, just in time for the NFL season opener of Green Bay vs Seattle.

According to their press release, the concept behind the Teaneck Doghouse sports-themed restaurant is to provide the Bergen County Jewish community with a superior game-day experience in which families and friends can root on their favorite sports teams, while enjoying tasty food and wholesome fun. The Jewish community of Bergen County is large, dynamic, diverse and successful but does not have a restaurant like this. They want to offer a wholesome and kosher alternative for the members of the community that enjoy cheering on their favorite team in the company of friends and family.

According to their website, the kitchen is under the supervision of Rabbi Zushe Yosef Blech, Hasgachat Kashrus of Kehillas Bais Ben Zion, Monsey, NY (View Menu).
