Roku, the fusion restaurant and bar reported to be coming this summer, opens today in Palisades Park. The restaurant was established to serve the best of the roku (or “6” in Japapnese) following cuisines including Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and haute American cuisine.

The menu (View on Website) features sushi, raw bar and a whole selection of dishes crafted from the aforementioned cuisines. The bar features a number of signature sake martinis and specialty drinks.

Roku is offering not just dining, but also a lounge and an 11-room karaoke area, which is the largest in New Jersey according to management. The karaoke rooms feature state-of-the art video and entertainment systems and can accommodate groups of up to 100 guests.
