Famed North Jersey hot dog outlet Rutt’s Hut in Clifton is the location of the Munchmobile kickoff party this coming Tuesday, May 20, 2014 according to NJ.com. Beginning at noon, the first 100 people to bring a printout of NJ.com’s article (THIS ONE) will receive a free hot dog. There will also be music from Newark’s East Side High School Marching Band and raffles featuring t-shirts.

In it’s 17th season, the Munchmobile brings a group of food fans and Star Ledger food writer Peter Genovese to the far reaches of NJ each week, visiting a number of restaurants tied to a certain theme. The Munchmobile is also the recipient of a redesign this season, with the event doubling as it’s first official public viewing.
