From Scratch, a new prepared food service that launched early April, is delivering fresh, homemade meals and baked goods to the Ridgewood area (Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Glen Rock, Midland Park, Franklin Lakes, Mahwah). 

Chef Claudia e Roberto’s passion for cooking started when she was still a young girl, watching her grandmother in the kitchen. She tried her best to learn all of her secrets and follow her advice… she still has her notebook with all of her recipes. She continued to fine tune those skills in a family restaurant, but became the “house cook” for her family after getting married.

Now she’s serving others again, cooking from scratch (hence the name) and sharing the flavors and smells that characterize what she’s learned in the Mediterranean kitchen. She’s using only organic and natural ingredients,visiting farms to find the best seasonal products (the menu is dynamic and will change quite often) and whisking them together at some commercial kitchen space in Hawthorne. 

To order, visit the From Scratch website and choose what you want.  If  your order has been processed before 8 am, dinner will be delivered to your door at 6pm the same day, otherwise the next.
