The Shannon Rose is hosting a tap takeover with Brewery, a Belgian-style craft brewery located in Cooperstown, this Thursday, April 17, 2014 beginning at 5:00pm. They will be tapping kegs of Ommegang’s limited, Belgian-style seasonal and year-round releases. Experts from Ommegang will be on-hand to answer questions about the brewing process, beer types, pairings and more. Brews that will be on hand  include:

· Rare Vos – An Amber Ale brewed with sweet orange peel, grains of paradise and coriander

· Hennepin – A Farmhouse Saison Ale brewed with grains of paradise, coriander, ginger and sweet orange peel

· Abbey Ale – A Dubbel Ale brewed with licorice root, star anise, sweet orange peel, coriander and cumin

· Fire and Blood Red Ale –  Their most recent collaboration with the HBO show Game of Thrones (Clifton location only)
