Owner Daniel DeMiglio, grandson of legendary Callahan’s owner Leonard “Artie” Castranni, has given us here at Boozy Burbs the exclusive first look at his new Callahan’s food truck.  As we first reported, DeMiglio is bringing the famous Callahan’s hot dogs back as a food truck, with a homecoming to Bergen County/Fort Lee on June 1st at the Fort Lee Arts & Music Festival.

If you can’t wait, he’ll first be at the Riverwalk Outdoor Market at Port Imperial Blvd (25 Avenue Port Imperial in West New York) this Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11am-6pm (and again Saturday, April 19th), selling those signature Callahan’s hot dogs, drinks and limited edition Callahan’s t-shirts. The full menu will be revealed sometime later this month and launch sometime in June.

In addition to the first full public shots of the truck, DeMiglio also revealed he’s even hired an original cook from the restaurant, confirming his assertion that he’s bringing the full Callahan’s “experience” back. Fans looking to join in that experience, can follow the truck’s whereabouts all summer at their website, http://www.callahanshotdogs.com and of course on Facebook.
