Update: The rumors are true, U Pie Englewood is returning

More rumors today ― this time whispers are persisting that artisan pizza shop U Pie Company is headed back to Englewood. The now-defunct shop, which closed last year (after it closed, owner Charles Hamade added the pizza menu to his Cliffside Park restaurant Bushido Bar and renamed it Union Bar), is supposedly returning to Palisade Avenue ― this time across the street from their old location ― in the former Carvel storefront. We haven’t heard yet if its the same owner, same chef, same oven, etc… but we hope to confirm any of the news in the next few days.
