Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque, the award-winning (and highly rated) NYC BBQ restaurant, has opened in Clifton. After a few months of waiting, diners can now dine from their style of smoked barbecue. The restaurant began as a stall at the famed food-only flea market Smorgasburg in Brooklyn. An East Village location came next, plus plans for more retail across the city are in the works.

The menu (View Menu) features slow-smoked barbeque, side dishes and American craft beers. The barbeque portion merges two of the BBQ-style titans, Texas and the Carolinas. The all natural meats are cooked for hours before being served by Pit Master and Co-Founder, Hugh Mangum. Crowned “Chopped Champion” in 2012, Mangum’s “traditional barbeque with a modern updated assortment of side pairings” are currently being served at Mighty Quinn’s locations in Brooklyn and East Village.

The casual dining spot features communal dining tables all handcrafted out of reclaimed wood. They are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner at their Route 3 location.
