Uber, the on-demand car service startup, is alive and kicking in NJ (they officially launched here in mid-November) with both their black car and UberX (ridesharing via mid-range or hydrid vehicles at a lesser price point) offerings. It’s a potentially appealing service, especially during a night (or day, LOL) of “adult beverages“, where the click of an app can hail you a cab anywhere in the area (Uber is currently covering the northeast corner of Jersey).

To promote their car offering his weekend, Uber is offering two FREE uberX rides to, from, or within New Jersey between noon on Friday (2/7/2014) through 11:59PM on Sunday (2/9/2014) with code NJLOVESuberX (a number of restrictions apply).
