Closing Alert: Dos Cubanos, Paramus, NJ

Dos Cubanos, the restaurant which opened on Route 4 sometime in the middle of 2012, has closed according to the landlord. Speculation had begun over the last three weeks as the restaurant appeared closed, with requests about their status on their Facebook page not being responded to and their website (which once was a complete site) been replaced with a coming soon landing page. The modern “Cuban-inspired” restaurant had replaced Fuddruckers and was next to both Popeye’s and the newer Miller’s Ale House.

We knew that wouldn’t last. Irish guys selling Cuban food? Cuban food should not commercialized, that’s why Cuban Eddie exists.

Why did it close? It was awful!!! I still laugh when I think of the time I went to Dos Cubanos and ordered the “Cuban Sandwich”. The clueless waiter had to look at my menu to see what I meant. Amazing.
