Healthy Breakfast Competition at Cliffside Park High School on September 24th
On Tuesday, September 24th, at 7:30am, HealthCorps will present a Healthy Breakfast Challenge at Cliffside Park High School. Two teams of students, led by CPHS alum Ariel Martinez and ICC chef Jeff Butler, will compete to prepare a healthy breakfast using the ingredient of Walnuts. Lisa Oz will moderate the event.
In 2012, the California Walnut Board awarded Ariel Martinez, a HealthCorps student at Cliffside Park High School, a scholarship to attend the International Culinary Center, where she graduated this past June. This event is to honor Ariel’s work and give her a chance to connect with current high school students; Chef Butler was her mentor at the ICC.
