The age-old question of whether beer or wine better pairs with food will attempted to be answered on Thursday, October 17th at the “Cru vs Brew” dining event hosted by Montclair’s Amanti Vino at the Women’s Club of Upper Montclair.

The competition will pit brewmaster Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery against Robert Sinskey, owner/vintner of Robert Sinskey Vineyards. Five course will be created by Ariane Duarte of Montclair’s CulinAriane and paired by liquor experts with one of their own products. Guests will debate and vote, by paddle, on a winner. Guests may also take part in exciting live and silent auctions and bid on fabulous prizes.
