JD’s Boiling Pot, a Louisiana cajun-style seafood restaurant, has opened on the second floor of JD’s Steak Pit. The dinner-only (daily from 5-11pm) restaurant serves a bag (no plates served…) of boiled crawfish, crabs, clams, shrimp, hot dog, rice cake, mussels, potato, corn, sausage in their signature spicy cajun sauce. There is an option to add additional seafood to the bag (lobster, snow crab). Ordering is by group size: boil for 2 ($20), boil for 4 ($70), boil for 6 ($100), etc. All boils are served with hot bread and utensils including mallet, gloves, bib and more.

They are using the liquor license from downstairs so there are a selection of bottled and “keg” beer selections. Thought not listed, the full bar menu from downstairs is available as well. The room has been decorated in a ocean/seafood-motif. Aquatic photos adorn the walls and fisherman’s equipment hanging throughout the space with the requisite hanging TVs displaying live sports.
