Paellas Cafe, a Mexican and Spanish restaurant, opened up late August in Lyndhurst. It is co-owned by sisters Beatriz Cazares and Maria Carcich with Beatriz’s husband Angel as chef. Angel Cazares, has 30 years of experience with stints at Meson Madrid (head chef) in Palisades Park, Meson Sevilla (NYC) and Sangria 46 (NYC).

The menu covers a mix of Spanish and Mexican dishes including appetizers, soups/salads and various meat, fish and chicken entrees. Mexican dishes include fajitas, enchiladas and tacos. Spanish dishes include paella, Spanish tortilla (omelet) and others. A few “international” dishes like chicken parm have also been thrown in for good measure.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open 7 days a week. Free delivery is available to the local area.
