The Iron Shaker is a mixology competition that will pit North & South Jersey bartenders against each other for  the chance to win $1000 and some media coverage. The event is presented by R&R Marketing & NJ Monthly with mixologists from all around NJ competing in a series of challenges.

Competitors will be judged on 3 Categories: Drink Appearance, Drink taste and Level of Difficulty/Creativity. Event attendees (21+ only) will get a chance to sample these creative cocktails, enjoy some food snacks  and vote for their favorite.  Tickets for the event are $25 each.

South Semifinals: Thursday, September 19th at Porta in Asbury Park
North Semifinals: Monday, September 23rd at Waterside in North Bergen
Finals: Thursday, October 17th at Park East
