Norwood Grill, a “Tex-Mex & Hibachi Grill”, has opened along the small commercial area along Broad Street in Norwood. While Asian and Mexican fusion taco restaurants and trucks are still white hot in many foodie circles, Norwood Grill is more similar to Fresco Tortillas (formerly in Englewood and many NYC locations) or East West (Englewood) with homemade tortillas dishes (tacos, etc) sharing a menu with common Asian foods like dumplings and grilled meat and fish entrees.

Much of the menu is made in house including the flour tortillas and guacamole. Mexican soda brand and cane sugar user Jarritos is available in a number of flavors as well.

Norwood Grill Shares the same ownership as the Chinese restaurant Hunan Royal located next-door. The main significance of this to the average customer is that they share each other’s coupons.

Norwood Grill is open 6 days (closed Sundays). Delivery business is expected to be large, as they will bring food to the following towns: Norwood, Northvale, Closter, Harrington Park, Old Tappan, Rivervale, Demarest, Rockleigh, Haworth, Emerson, Westwood, Orangeburg (NY), Palisades (NY) and Tappan (NY)
