As part of the 9th Annual Summer Festival in Westwood on June 29, 2013 (hosted as always by the Westwood Chamber of Commerce), Sogno Coffee owner John Vitale and Westwood Mayor John Birkner will compete in a throwdown cookoff where both men will compete to best the other’s signature dish. The $10 ticket price will benefit the Westwood Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and will be held in front of the Westwood Art Gallery.  Spectators will be able to sample each of the chef’s creations.

For those interested in the rest of the festival, which runs from from 10:00am thru 5:00pm, Westwood Avenue will be converted into a Pedestrian Mall featuring shopping deals, food, health screenings & fitness demonstrations, games for the kids and more.
