Solaia Restaurant has stalwart on Van Brunt for years. In the last few months they have hired consulting Chef Francis Reynard to create a new gastronomic Italian menu. Bernand has worked in the kitchens of many Michelin starred restaurants around the world and with some of the world’s biggest chefs including Alain Ducasse and Daniel Boulud. Their collaboration (or at least the beginning of it) is complete, as they have recently revealed their menu. A full gallery of images from the new menu is available on Facebook. Solaia is open 7 days and week for dinner and weekdays for lunch. They are located next door to sister restaurant (and recently-moved) Burgerwood. Solaia has a full bar and outdoor terrace seating when weather permits.
