Grange Westwood Launches Summer Menu and Lunch Service

Boozy Burbs has received not one but two announcements today from Grange in Westwood, the new casual/fine dining restaurant from Bergen County kitchen vet Christine Nunn and restaurateur Brian Powell. The first is that they will be transitioning to their summer menu this week. The menu, which focuses on a “plate full of summertime” from regions across the nation, will continue to “push their modern spin on American classics”.

Blackened Crabcake – Cajun seasoned voodoo sauce
Seared Hudson valley foie gras – Buttermilk pancake, blueberry syrup, spiced walnuts
Mixed greens with stone fruits – candied pecans, lardon, Bourbon bacon vinaigrette

The Main Event
Earl grey-brined Moulard Duck Breast – wilted summer lettuces, Blackberries, berry balsamic vinaigrette, foie gras crouton
Seared Diver Scallops – grits, cranberry and wax beans, herb salad, “Gazpacho” Pan roasted arctic char – scape compound butter, “ratatouille,” lentil salad
Down East in Westwood – 1 1/4 lb Maine Lobster, corn spoonbread, baked purple potato, drawn butter

The OTHER big announcement from the Grange team is that lunch service will begin next Tuesday, June 25th, 2013. Lunch will be served Tuesday thru Sunday from 11:30am-3:00pm. The menu will take Nunn’s “playfulness to new heights of whimsy” including dishes with a number of salads and “sammies”.
