Via email, the organizers have announced the cancellation of the Tenafly Farmer’s Market. The market, which opened back in 2009, organized each Sunday from June through November at Municipal Lot N (at Washington Street & Tenafly Road) in Tenafly.

There are other options in the area, with a farmer’s market opened recently in Closter and another coming sometime (though delayed) in Westwood.

In fact, the Closter Farmers Market is having a Cinco de Mayo celebration this coming Sunday, May 5th, 2013. Wright’s Farm is bringing Jalapeno and Peach Jelly, Hot Pepper Jelly and Dulce de Leche Fudge. Pickles and Olives will have Mexican Spicy Olives. CafĂ© Mavi Organic Smoothies will be whipping up a special Mexican drink. Lupardis Nursery is bringing a Mexican Herb Garden. Gourmet Nuts will have a Mexican Spicy nut mixture. Angelina’s brings a special Mexican Mocktail and Kiernan’s Farm will offer $4.00 off when you buy one package of jalapeno cheese hot dogs, one package ground beef and one package pork chorizo sausage.
