The outpouring of support to help those in need because of Super Storm Sandy continues. Originally a alcohol-based cooking competition called the Jersey Booze Experiment, the now appropriately titled Jersey Relief Experiment rolls into Maxwell’s in Hoboken this weekend on Sunday, December 2nd.

The event is an amateur cooking competition whose proceeds will benefit the Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund. The expected hundreds of “chef-testants” will be on hand to compete with a panel of judges and audience members ultimately voting on a winner. An auction of kitchen items and experiences will also play a role in generating dollars for charity.

Those looking to participate in the competition or would like to be apart of the audience can find out more at the event website. For those interested, the auction is being held online so showing up is not necessary to contribute. Auction bidding can be done here.
