Red White and Que Smokehouse, the highly lauded BBQ shop (Read Thrillist Names Then Best BBQ in NJ) that’s been on an expansion tear, has sold off all their locations except the original in Kearny. The other locations – including the one in Wayne that opened late last year, will be converted to another name. So the only way to get the “real deal” will now once again be in Kearny.

The shop founded by Dan Misuraca (a former marine) and his wife Katie, have mutually parted ways with their partners serves a menu (View Menu) of on-site smoked meats using only Certified Angus Beef and Duroc Pork including Carolina pulled pork, St. Louis cut ribs, brisket, smoked chicken and local sausage. Traditional bbq sides like potato salad, mac and cheese, collard greens and baked beans are all homemade.
