Acappella West Coming This Fall to Edgewater

Acappella West, a new restaurant sharing name, menu and manager from TriBeCa in the city (Acappella) — serving the cuisine of Northern Italy — is coming to Edgewater. Inside is a dining room highlighted with a classic mahogany bar that seats up to 90, Tuscan-textured walls against a turn of the century exposed brick backdrop, and a Renaissance Era portrait of Duke Federico da Montefebre of Urbino — which keeps watch over the room.

Their extensive menu (see similar Tribeca Menu) will feature signature dishes such as a Tuna Caviar appetizer — presented on a bed of pureed avocado, crowned with cream, chives, fresh glazier American caviar and “kissed” with Acappella’s secret family recipe — plus entrees like a Dover Sole in light butter sauce, charbroiled Triple-Cut Veal Chop, and the 3 ½-pound lobster with white wine and garlic. Many of the items are highlighted with a unique showmanship, a la minuto cooking served table side.

A second level dining area with another full service mahogany bar and dining room seats 160 people, can be used as a party room. Now specific date has been given, however management expects a fall opening.
