Bareburger Makes Best Veggie Burger List
Not a Guadalupe, but this burger uses the same black bean patty
As part of a series highlighting definitive lists of the Best of New York, New York Magazine and it’s sister online food publication Grub Street have named Bareburger, the socially-conscious burger chain – which has a location in Edgewater (one is coming to Closter Plaza) – to it’s choices of The Absolute Best Veggie Burger in New York.
Coming in at #7 (out of #8), Bareburger’s black bean burger toppped with pickled red onions, tomatoes, guac and alfalfa sporuts on a toasted sprout bun – called the Guadalupe – got the high marks that brought the chain to the winner’s circle. Of course the black bean patty can be customized with Bareburger’s large share of toppings – they even offer a sweet potato/wild rice patty and a farmers quinoa patty that are also vegetarian.
