The Daily Meal has released its fourth annual list of 75 Best Colleges in America for Food for 2015. To assemble their ranking, they started out with a list of around 2,000 colleges, and after rigorous research and outreach to their dining services, they narrowed that list down to around 300 contenders. These colleges were highly respected for a variety of reasons across the country and had dining programs that caught the editors’ attention.

The final 75 were ranked by scoring each of those colleges on the below criteria: Nutrition and Sustainability, Accessibility and Service, Education and Events, Surrounding Area and The “X” Factor. One institution of higher learning in NJ made the list – Princeton University (#44). But even closer to Bergen County in Manhattan, both Columbia (#2) and NYU (#7) made the top 10. The full list can be viewed at The Daily Meal.
