The name may be Jersey Mike’s Subs, but Bergen County residents have not had an outlet to call their own till today. The fast-casual sub franchise opens their Northvale (Ramsey is coming too) location today on Livingston Street. The chain features fresh sliced subs on freshly baked bread.

The menu (see below) contains both hot and cold subs, wraps and salads called Sub in a Tub (basically any sandwich without the bread). The meats and cheese are sliced on the spot, while the bread is baked in-store. Customers can order their subs “Mike’s Way”,  with onions, lettuce and tomatoes then topped off with “the juice” (a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend). The restaurant’s hours are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days a week.
