Opening Alert: Chok Dee Thai Kitchen, Norwood, NJ
Chok Dee Thai Kitchen, the upcoming Thai restaurant we first posted about last month, has opened in Norwood.
The restaurant serves a variety (View Menu) of Thai apps, salads, soups, noodles, rice and meat/fish entrees (see menu below). There are 8-10 seats, but the layout is geared towards takeout.
They are are closed Mondays and open till 9:30pm all other nights. Delivery is available with a $15 minimum and charges may apply to those outside Norwood (Other delivery towns include: Northvale, Harrington Park, Old Tappan, Alpine, Demarest, Closter, Cresskill and Haworth).

The owners Chok Dee Thai Kitchen are Emmy & Joe. Emmy is a very gracious, friendly hostess and Joe is the amazing Chef. Small storefront restaurant, we have eaten in & taken out as well, but very cozy. The food itself is absolutely authentic and delicious. If you have a special diet or a preference, just let them know and they are more than happy to please. Many times when they are thinking about adding a new item they will give you a sample for your opinion to see if they will add it to their menu. When you eat in you can enjoy the pleasant conversation with Emmy. I wish them the best of luck on this venture & suggest anyone and EVERYONE go in and try their food. You will not be disappointed!
Just wanted to echo Linda’s sentiments above. This has become a favorite special dine-in place for me and my daughter. Emmy is delightful and the food is delicious, extremely fresh, and flavorful.
