If you’re about to go see or just finished seeing a Movie at Clearview Cinemas in Bergenfield, you’re in luck. Empanada Mania opened back in December with a rotating list of (currently) 12 weekly/daily freshly made empanadas for your dining pleasure.

Owner Galo Grijalva makes all the fillings fresh everyday and all empanadas are cooked to order.  There are also a few special on Fridays, including their homemade chili and currently a ceviche (mainly for those observing Lent). We were also told that they are still experimenting will the more “permanent” menu items, so there will very easily be new ones available when you go to visit!

There’s apparently an apple pie flavor that is not on the menu above. You need to ask, but they’ll make it for you. Custom orders of any flavor currently in rotation (any they have on the menu regularly) or custom flavors are available with approximately 24 hours notice. Start planning those parties folks!
