Nyack Farmers Market

After wintering under shelter at the Nyack Center, the Market is back outdoors on a modified basis starting today, Thursday, May 14 from 8am until 2pm — with harvests from local farms, as well as specialty goods and an array of artisanal products offered by the Market’s roster of vendors.

The realities of COVID-19 require that custoemrs observe new guidelines to protect individual and public health. The organizers are asking that all Market participants adhere to protocols developed to ensure the safety of our shoppers, vendors and Chamber of Commerce staff and volunteers.

These protocols include: require that shoppers and vendors wear masks at all times, require that vendors wear gloves and wear masks, preclude shoppers from handling merchandise, limit the number of people in the market at any given time,r egulate how food and money are handled, regulate how people enter, move through, and exit the market. Plus they are srongly encouraging pre-orders that are pre-paid for pick-up.

Expect a mix of fresh cut flowers; farm fresh/organic fruits and vegetables; free-range eggs; fresh seafood, poultry and grass-fed beef; pickles, sauerkraut and olives; fresh baked goods; honey and maple syrup; coffee; gluten-free baked goods; hummus and Middle Eastern delicacies; handmade cheeses; fine local wines, and more.

Operated by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, it’s held Thursdays from 8:00am-2:00pm in Nyack’s main municipal parking lot. You can stay up to date by visiting the market’s Facebook (Visit) or Instagram (Visit) accounts or the chambers’ website.
